I was wondering then, when it finished got he latest version, it closed?! Then i think it may be okay, so i refreshed the page. But when i started to download, it showed me that i didnt install RedSwoosh yet!! But i had already installed it!!! Why cant i start downloading?

    Hmmm. . . I can come up with a couple possible reasons .. .

    1) The link you have provided above is not a valid Swooshed link. Swooshed links must end with an actual file url ending with a file type, like funvideo.mpg, or greatsong.mp3 -- What page did you get this link from? Let me know and we can troubleshoot.

    2) Have you restricted your browser from setting cookies? If so, it could be that we send the install page again and again, even when you are installed, because we do not see the redswoosh cookie. But even in this case, you should still be redirected to the download once the page actually loads and can see that the client is running.

So please send along the page you clicked on, and we'll take a closer look on the actual link and troubleshoot the problem and fix on our end if anything is not right with our tech.

First, I really wanna thank you!

I looked at this link again, found that the link isn't a vaild URL for RedSwoosh.

    Maybe I should correct it.

    Thank you.

Actually, to clarify, the URL must either end with a valid file extension, or have a Content-Disposition header that specifies the filename directly. If you don't know what the latter means, the safest way is just to make sure the URL ends with a valid file extension.

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. There appears to be something wrong with that link — the client is trying to download the file, but the server itself is 404’ing (ie, is broken). Can you post the original link (the FileFactory link, not the Red Swoosh link) so we can take a look? Thanks!

Hi Araki, it looks like you need a password to download from that site. Red Swoosh doesn’t know your name/password, so it is getting blocked. To enable Red Swoosh to download that link, disable name/password verification for requests that contain “Red Swoosh” in the User-Agent HTTP header. Does this answer your question?
